The guys at the main warehouse in Moss
If you turn off the E6 at Moss Syd, half an hour south of Oslo, you'll find ISOPARTNER's main warehouse and head office a few hundred metres away. In this article, we're going to meet four guys who have 3,000 square metres and 11 metres in height to play with.

Årvoll industrial estate
ISOPARTNER's head office and main warehouse are conveniently located on a hill on the Årvoll industrial estate by the E6 motorway in Rygge. Established in 1997, this 300-acre site is home to more than 80 companies and 300 jobs. Interestingly, the name ‘Årvoll’ derives from ‘Orrfuglvoll’, but there are few forest birds here today.
Large trucks with technical insulation make the pilgrimage to and from here, and seen from above it can look like a well-organised beehive, where small and large vehicles buzz back and forth all day long, carrying goods to construction projects, industrial plants and shipyards near and far.

Inge Henriksen - Purchasing coordinator and self-proclaimed ‘sports idiot’
‘There's a high ceiling here, but not many shelf warmers,’ says Inge. He is a purchasing coordinator and responsible for goods receipt, but started as a warehouse employee thirteen years ago. On a daily basis, he liaises with suppliers, drivers and, of course, customers. Moss is also a collection warehouse. Inge spends most of his free time with Bobby, a real husky, which tells us that he doesn't spend all his time on the sofa. But once he's there, it's all about skiing and watching football on TV. Liverpool is the club, and ‘You'll never walk alone’ is the song.
Johnny Eliassen - Warehouse manager and the company's ‘Lars Monsen’
Once inside the warehouse, we meet Johnny, a sturdy Viking with a full beard, a twinkle in his eye and a warm handshake. He is the warehouse manager and is responsible for ensuring that tasks are delegated and that co-operation in the warehouse runs smoothly, including with the other departments in the company. Johnny has more than seven years' experience with us. About that he says: ‘You know what, there's a reason why I've been here for so long, and that's the good environment we have.’ In his spare time, he enjoys family, outdoor life, hunting and fishing. He's also a scout leader, and has been out on many winter nights before, literally.
Kjell Ove Nilsen - Warehouse employee and fitness nerd
With seven years with us behind him, Kjell Ove has seen a significant growth in activity in the warehouse. Like many people in this profession, he has a varied background, with his CV revealing jobs in everything from pipe renewal to sales and bicycle repair. ‘I started working when I was 17 and tried a few different things before I ended up on the right shelf,’ he says. He even worked at the Rockwool factory in Moss, before finding his way to ISOPARTNER. Life in the warehouse can go from calm to hectic in a matter of seconds, and although the forklift does the heaviest lifting, you need to have some strength in your body to handle the heavy products, which can weigh almost up to sixty kilos. So it comes in handy that he does strength training four times a week.
Eskil Witnes Schultz - The young addition
Eskil, our youngest colleague at the age of 21, joined us from Plantasjen after gaining valuable experience in customer service and warehousing in the plant world. Although he's only been with us for just over a year, he's quickly become a valued part of the team. ‘It's a great place to work,’ he begins, ’and I really appreciate the close interaction with my colleagues. At the same time, it's nice to meet our customers and feel the good atmosphere we've created here.’ Outside of work, Eskil is a keen fitness enthusiast. He lifts a lot of iron at the gym, always in pursuit of self-improvement. When he takes a break, he often enjoys a packed lunch packed with the right proteins, carefully planned to match his training routines.
