Meet the isopartners: Firkløveret at Økern in Oslo

ISOPARTNER's Oslo branch at Økern is easy to find. The warehouse for technical insulation is located a stone's throw away from the iconic tower in Kabelgata, one of Oslo's tallest buildings and landmarks, where plastic-insulated high-voltage PEX cables were once manufactured. Now that we're expanding by 500 square metres, it was a good time to stop by and get to know the people who work here a little better.

We meet an enterprising foursome who, from 6.30 in the morning, are on the spot for our customers (and partners) who come to pick up insulation products for the many construction projects in Tigerstaden. The warehouse is busy, but the laughter and humour are always there. If you come here, you'll also realise that it's an international environment. We speak Swedish, English, Polish, Bosnian, Lithuanian, Albanian and Russian, as well as the local language of course.

Extensive expertise in technical insulation

Speaking of Trøndelag. The department is headed by Morten Mork, whose relaxed Trøndelag accent reveals that he grew up in Namdalseid, just north of Steinkjer. Morten came to us from the insulation company Westby & Mork, which is now run by Robert Westby. He has 18 years' experience as an insulator and spends part of his time advising customers on products and solutions. One of Morten's hidden super-strengths is cooking, which comes in handy at mini-fairs, where he serves up barbeque and homemade dressing. Morten has a dual qualification as a chef, in both restaurants and catering. Otherwise, he's a family man with a partner, four children and a passion for hunting and fishing.

If you stop by to pick up goods from the warehouse, you'll also meet our service-minded warehouse employees Erik Løken and Adis Lekovic. When Erik isn't packing goods and driving a forklift truck, he spends his free time playing football and hunting. Then it's Arsenal, Vålerenga and small game. Adis is married and a father of three. Originally from Montenegro, he settled in Norway in 1999 at the age of twenty.

Expanding warehouse capacity by 500 square metres

In order to meet the increased demand for technical insulation and to be able to offer the wide range of products we are known for, we have now expanded by 500 square metres in Oslo. In the photo, Liridon Mehaj shows off the new section. He is responsible for sales in Oslo and has worked with us since 2015. First as a warehouse worker and then as a department manager, until his distinctive sales skills were noticed. Liridon is also from Montenegro and spent many years living in Sweden, where he worked as a skilled tiler. In his spare time, his family takes centre stage, especially his partner and young daughter.
