Digitalisation has long since reached the insulation industry, and among our customers we see an increased interest in using the webshop. One of them is HNH Isolering, which now makes all its purchases online - ‘We use it around the clock,’ says general manager Kim Håvak.
Saving time by ordering insulation via the webshop
Insulation company HNH Isolering is one of the customers who have been buying all their insulation via the online store since October 2022. They have 42 employees and a turnover of approximately 55 million. One of the biggest projects they are working on is Drammen Hospital, which will be completed in 2024.
- ‘We save a lot of time by having one person place the order instead of having ten to fifteen people visit Isopartner every day to collect it ourselves. We place orders both late and early, including Sundays, so we use it around the clock. Isopartner has a good product range and usually has goods in stock. From the pick-up warehouse in Oslo, it's a short distance to the construction site when we need something,’ says Håvak.

An early adopter of the online store
- ‘We launched the webshop back in 2011, but it's only now that we're seeing its use take off. Our vision has always been to give our customers full access to products, prices and documentation around the clock, and the webshop is the most important instrument for realising that vision,’ says CEO Arne Schultz.
Dedicated to online shopping
Iso partners Mette-Regi Olsen and Trond-Erik Johansen are keen to get more customers to use the online store.
- ‘The most obvious advantages are that you can place orders at your leisure whenever you want. You also avoid potential misunderstandings that can arise when you call in on the phone. And last but not least, you have all your documentation at your fingertips, including price lists and order history,’ says Johansen.
- When online banking was introduced in the early 2000s, many people were annoyed at having to do things themselves on the computer. Now it's the opposite. You get annoyed if you have to turn up at the bank or make a phone call. I think we're heading in that direction with commerce in the business segment too,’ Olsen adds.
